The primary role of TNBFA is to promote blind football and physical fitness among the visually challenged community through the beautiful game of Football. To achieve this goal, we look forward to collaborating with the Government bodies at the Central and State level bodies, Sports Associations, sports-minded philanthropists, institutions and corporates committed to help in the promotion of sports for the visually challenged persons.

# To promote and develop blind football among the visually challenged community in Tamilnadu
# To formulate and help in implementing the Sports Policy of the Government of Tamilnadu and the Government of India for the promotion of sports amongst the visually challenged
# To create District Associations to work with TNBFA in the promotion of blind football at the district level
# To co-ordinate, co-operate and liaison with the Paralympic Committee of India, Indian blind football federation, Indian blind sports association
# To create an ecosystem of administrators, coaches, referees, players, and parents to promote the growth of blind football in Tamilnadu through regular practice sessions, competitions, coaching, education, seminars and conferences
# To advise the State Government and other authorities on all matters relating to the promotion of blind football and improvement of sports standards, which may be referred to by the State Government and other authorities.
IBSA Blind Football is offering a six-hour on-line introductory course in officiating to bring new referees on board, giving aspiring officials the chance to learn the basics of the game.
